    Incorporation

    Recapita Finance Private Limited incorporated in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh by Amit Jain, a Chartered Accountant with over two decades in banking across Indian and international institutions.

  2. 2017

    RBI Registration & Launch

    Registered with the Reserve Bank of India as an NBFC (Regn No. B-03.00185); lending operations commence in June 2017.

  3. 2017–2020

    Building Through Cycles

    Built through the cycles — demonetisation aftermath, GST transition and COVID-19 — while maintaining collection efficiency of 93–97% throughout.

  4. 2020

    Gold Loan Launch

    Gold Loan vertical launched — the beginning of a deliberate, structural shift to secured lending.

  5. 2020–2021

    ECLGS MLI Recognition

    Recognised as a Member Lending Institution (MLI) under the Government of India’s Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) for MSMEs.

    Strategic Transformation

    Strategic portfolio transformation: from a predominantly unsecured book to ~97% secured, gold-anchored lending with conservative loan-to-value discipline.

  7. 2022

    Aadhaar e-KYC Authorisation

    Authorised by the Government of India (Gazette Notification S.O. 1702(E) dated 8 April 2022, under Section 11A of the PMLA) to perform Aadhaar e-KYC authentication — one of only 38 entities so notified, alongside some of India’s largest NBFCs.

    Proprietary Technology Stack

    Proprietary in-house technology platform (RecFin LOS/LMS) fully stabilised across origination, servicing and collections.

    Deepening the Platform

    Branch network reaches 13 across Madhya Pradesh; mutual-fund and insurance distribution deepen the financial-services platform.

    Scale & Asset Quality

    14th branch operationalized (Dewas). AUM grows over 40% year-on-year; asset quality strengthens further (Net NPA 0.27%); zero delays and zero covenant deviations with lenders — since inception.
